For NRI loans, the applicant should pay their loan installments through NRE / NRO Bank account only. If the applicant is not holding any NRE / NRO bank account, they should open the NRE/NRO account as soon as possible with any Bank in India. This is mandatory for NRI clients.
- The applicant have to Sign (ECS form) and get the acceptance from the banker, for deducting the loan installment (EMI) from the NRE, NRO bank account in India. The applicant should also submit 8 standby cheques duly signed and crossed in favor of LIC Housing finance Ltd, without mentioning the date & amount.
